Hasegawa 1:48 Mitsubishi A6M2b Zero Fighter Type 21 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary Japanese carrier fighter of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit captures the early carrier version of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M2b fighter, known as the Zero Type 21, in 1:48 scale. The model from the Japanese brand Hasegawa comes as an unassembled and unpainted set of plastic parts with finely engraved panel lines and a decal sheet for period Japanese markings.
The Zero Type 21 was the main carrier fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the first years of the war in the Pacific. It was powered by a radial engine and became famous for its exceptional range and agility. The Type 21 version had folding wingtips for operation from aircraft carriers and was deployed from the attack on Pearl Harbor through the fighting in the southwest Pacific.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. We recommend a primer before spraying, apply the paints with an airbrush and lay the light Japanese schemes over an even base. The cockpit and the engine deserve careful painting, and a final matte varnish will unify the surface and prepare it for the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
