1:48 Italian Gustavs over Sicily #2 - Bf-109 G in Regia Aeronautica (Part 2)

Italian Gustavs over Sicily No. 2 – Bf 109G in the Regia Aeronautica (part 2), decals 1:48, Exotic Decals

A sheet of waterslide decals (wet decals) in 1:48 scale from Exotic Decals. The second part of a series devoted to Messerschmitt Bf 109G fighters in the service of the Regia Aeronautica during the fighting over Sicily. The decals serve to finish a model; the aircraft itself is not included.

The real subject

The Messerschmitt Bf 109G, nicknamed Gustav, was also delivered to the Regia Aeronautica, which used it among other things in the defensive fighting over Sicily. The Italian Gustavs carried distinctive markings and the national insignia of the Regia Aeronautica, different from the German machines, which makes them an attractive subject for modelers.

Use

• Apply the decals onto a smooth, preferably gloss varnished base
• Cut the part out, dip it in lukewarm water and once it is released slide it onto the model
• Blot the excess water away, adjust the position and let it dry
• A decal softener is recommended for perfect adhesion to the surface

Who the decals are for

For modelers building the Bf 109G in 1:48 scale who want to finish the model in the Italian markings of the Regia Aeronautica from the fighting over Sicily.
