This resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer CMK brings a pair of main wheels with diamond tread tires for the Curtiss P-40 fighter in 1:72 scale. The hubs are cast separately and the set offers two versions, with and without the hub covers. The wheels replace the simpler plastic parts and sharpen the look of the landing gear. The wheels are prepared for P-40 kits from Special Hobby.
The parts are cast in modeling resin with fine detail. Before gluing, wash off the mold release agent, cut them off the casting blocks and clean them up. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); protect your airways while sanding. The separate hubs make it easier to paint the tires and the rims.
The set contains resin parts only. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
