It contains turned metal (brass) pitot tubes and angle of attack probes (AoA probes) together with resin mounts that make accurate seating on the airframe easier. Replacing the plastic parts gives you a thin, perfectly straight and mechanically durable probe of a kind that cannot be made in injection-molded plastic.
The pitot tube senses dynamic pressure for measuring airspeed, while the angle of attack probes track the direction of the oncoming airflow.
