Responsibility details are not available.
This is a self-adhesive masking set from the brand Peewit for a model of the Polikarpov I-16 fighter in 1:48 scale. The set brings together masks for the canopy frames, masks for the wheels and flexible plugs for the landing gear bays, for a clean coat on the lower surfaces.
The Polikarpov I-16 was a Soviet fighter of the 1930s, one of the first monoplanes with retractable landing gear in series production. It was committed in the Spanish Civil War and in the first years of the Second World War. Its short, stubby fuselage makes the I-16 an unmistakable and well-liked subject.
The mask is an aid for painting; it holds neither paints nor a model.
