Eduard 1:48 B-24D Liberator nose interior is a photo-etched detail set for refining the forward section of the fuselage of this four-engine bomber. It is not a model but an accessory for a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail set from Eduard in 1:48 scale, aimed at the interior of the forward, nose section of the B-24D Liberator bomber. The set is NOT an airplane kit but a set of fine metal parts that replace or complement the simplified plastic parts and markedly raise the level of detail in the nose area.
The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was an American heavy four-engine bomber of the Second World War. The B-24D version was among the first built in large series and carried the characteristic glazed nose with the navigator's and bombardier's stations, which this set refines.
The parts are nipped from the fret and bent over an edge (a photo-etch bender proves itself). Flat parts can be glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and pre-colored photo-etched elements have a self-adhesive layer. Degrease the surface before gluing. The set is meant for more experienced modelers used to working with photo-etch.
This is an add-on set, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
