Responsibility details are not available.
The Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero is a Japanese single-seat carrier fighter and the most numerously built version of the whole line. It is told by its shortened wingtips with a rounded end. The design was driven by the pursuit of the lowest possible weight, so even the real parts were thin and fine; on a model in 1:48 scale that shows precisely where plastic has to be thicker for production reasons than the scale would have it.
A photo-etched metal fret in 1:48 scale from Eduard's production. The metal replaces the shapes that come out of plastic coarsely: thin edges, grilles, buckles, loops and small panels. Which parts of the model the set completes and in what order they are fitted is given in the manufacturer's instructions; they also settle which A6M5 kit the set is designed for. A number of the parts are best fitted before the fuselage is closed up, so go through the instructions before you start gluing plastic.
The parts are held on the carrier sheet by small tabs. Cut them with a sharp blade on a hard surface and sand the remains of the tab, so that the edge stays straight. Make the bend along the etched score line, draw it home with a straight edge and do not try to straighten it repeatedly; metal in a bend cracks in time. They are bonded with super glue in tiny drops. Finally degrease the metal and use a primer for metal; without it the shade rubs off a smooth surface.
The package holds a photo-etched fret according to the manufacturer's listing. The kit, the paints, the glue and the decals are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
