This accessory is a resin, directly three-dimensionally printed engine exhaust nozzle for the F-35C Lightning II carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. It is a replacement detail from the Brassin line, not a kit of the aircraft. Three-dimensional printing makes it possible to render the complicated geometry of the vanes and the segments of the nozzle realistically.
The exhaust nozzle is a markedly watched feature at the rear of a model. The casting replaces the plastic part and brings fine inner and outer detail that cannot come out of a mold. Once painted in metallic and burnt shades, the rear end looks very convincing.
Clean the parts, separate them from the print supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend metallic shades, heat staining and gentle shading of the segments. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The package holds only the resin accessory. Paints, glue and the basic model are not included.
