This accessory is a set of resin, directly three-dimensionally printed barrels for the wing machine guns of the Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat fighter in 1:48 scale. It is a replacement detail from the Brassin line, not a kit of the aircraft. The thin, exactly shaped barrels replace the coarser plastic parts from the box.
The muzzles of the machine guns in the leading edge of the wing are a small but conspicuous feature. The three-dimensionally printed barrels have a faithful diameter and a crisp end, which can hardly come about in plastic. Once painted in metallic shades, they add to the credibility of the wing.
Carefully separate the parts from the print supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend dark metallic shades. Work with the small parts using tweezers; they are fragile. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The package holds only the resin accessory. Paints, glue and the basic model are not included.
