Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary Japanese fighter Nakajima Ki-43-II Hayabusa, nicknamed the Oscar by the Allies, in 1:72 scale from Arma Hobby. The Foreign Services edition concentrates on foreign operators and non-standard markings of this type, including captured aircraft. The box includes self-adhesive painting masks, which make spraying the canopy frames and other areas easier. To build it you need modeling cement for plastic and paints, which are not included in the package.
The Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa was the main fighter of the Japanese Army Air Force during the Second World War. It was marked by excellent agility, low weight and low wing loading, thanks to which it excelled in maneuvering combat. The Ki-43-II version brought a more powerful engine, better pilot armor and changes to the wing. The type served on many fronts in the Pacific and in Southeast Asia, and some examples were used by other operators outside Japan as well.
Gluing with liquid modeling cement for plastic applied in a small amount is recommended. Degrease the surfaces before spraying and use a base coat (primer), and apply the colors ideally with an airbrush in thin coats. Stick the enclosed masks onto the clear cockpit parts before spraying, apply the decals onto a gloss clear coat and fix the work with a matte clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
