This set from the Czech brand Art Scale contains waterslide decals in 1:48 scale with the markings of German Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8/R2 fighters from the assault Sturmgruppe of the fighter wing JG 3. It is the second part of a series that offers a further set of machines and their individual markings. The decals are intended for plastic models of the Fw 190A-8 in this scale and are not a kit of an aircraft.
The Fw 190A-8/R2 was a heavily armed and armored variant of the Focke-Wulf fighter intended to destroy formations of American heavy bombers. The pilots of the so-called Rammjäger and assault groups attacked from very close range and often came under fire from the bombers' defensive turrets. The markings include the typical tactical signs, unit emblems and personal codes of individual airmen.
This is a set of decals, not a kit. The model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
