Mirage 2000 landing gear bay plugs 1:72

This is a masking aid, not a part of the model. The set contains shaped plugs of soft foam (EVA) that fit exactly into the wheel wells and landing gear bays of a model of the French Dassault Mirage 2000 fighter in 1:72 scale. During painting they reliably close off the recesses of the bays and stop paint getting inside. The plugs are shaped for the Italeri Mirage 2000 kit.

Use

• Before painting you simply press the foam plugs into the bays; no glue is needed
• After spraying you take them out without damaging the detail or the paint inside
• The flexible foam adapts to the shape of the recess and grips without leaving residue
• The plugs can be used again on later builds

The aid will be appreciated by modelers who want clean and quick masking of the landing gear bays without the tedious business of lining them with tape. The plugs are matched to the geometry of the Mirage 2000 model in 1:72 scale.
