A set of colored self-adhesive 3D decals for the interior of the cockpit of a model of the Soviet Ilyushin Il-2M3 attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. The detail is printed on a flexible film with fine relief, so the instrument panel, the side panels and the controls gain a three-dimensional look with no use of photo-etched parts or resin.
The Ilyushin Il-2 Shturmovik was an armored attack aircraft and one of the most widespread combat machines of the Second World War. The version with the index M3 (Il-2 type 3) was a two-seater with a rear gunner and a modified wing geometry. The cockpit protected by an armored bathtub and packed with instruments is an ideal area for detailed work.
Cut the individual parts out of the sheet, lift them off the backing and place them in the appropriate spot in the cockpit; the flexible film adapts to the shape of the plastic. For better adhesion degrease the surfaces and use a drop of water-based glue or a decal softener if needed. The finish in color saves time when shading the interior.
This is a set of decals for an interior, not a kit. The model of the aircraft, paints and glue are not included in the package.
