1:48 Su-25UB Frogfoot - Ukrainian camouflage with the clover pattern is a set of three sheets of masks, which cover the finish scheme and the supplementary motifs on the nose.
Responsibility details are not available.
Three sheets of pre-cut masks capture the unusual Ukrainian finish of the combat training version of the Frogfoot, whose rounded patches recall clover leaves. Besides the camouflage fields the set contains three side numbers, a shark mouth and the silhouette of a girl, so you can choose between several particular machines. The cut allows for the 1:48 kits of Czech and Slovak brands.
Aircraft with this coloring operated at Kulbakino base near Mykolaiv, the home of the 299th Tactical Aviation Brigade. Alongside the attack Su-25s it also operated frontline bombers and training L-39s. The two-seat version retained full combat equipment, so it served for training and for live tasks at the same time.
The rounded patches are laid onto a light base and it is recommended to proceed from the spine toward the sides. Leave the motifs on the nose until last, so that they are not damaged while handling the large parts of film. Before sticking them on, wipe the surface with a clean cloth; dust under the edge is the most frequent cause of paint running under. Paint the lower surfaces with the model turned upside down and hold the film until it adheres across its whole area.
