Two sheets of pre-cut stencils for the glazing and wheels of the Su-24 bomber in 1:48 scale. The cockpit masks contain outer and inner elements, because the rear part of the canopy on this machine is unusually sizeable and its frames are clearly visible on a finished model.
The Fencer came about from a requirement to break through air defenses at low altitude and in any weather. The wing changes its sweep, the two-man crew sits side by side and the machine carries a terrain-following radar, which allowed it to fly close above the ground. It has been in service since the 1970s, went through Afghanistan and later conflicts, and in an upgraded form it flies to this day.
The cut is based on a single particular mold of the Su-24M in 1:48 scale and the manufacturer itself points out that it will probably not fit the differently shaped canopy of another brand. Before sticking it on, therefore, lay the stencil on dry and compare it with the frames. Apply the paint in thin layers; a heavy layer creates a step at the edge which is visible after peeling. It also pays to paint the inner frames before you seat the canopy in the fuselage.
The set does not contain a model or paints.
