A gray acrylic primer from Lifecolor in a 100 ml package. It evens out the surface of a model, brings out unfinished work and improves the adhesion of the top coat.

A primer is the layer that goes onto a model first. It evens out a surface made up of different materials and differently sanded areas, so that the top shade looks the same everywhere. At the same time it holds on a bare surface better than a top color on its own, so a finished model does not rub through so easily. And what is most valuable during a build: it is only on a single-colored base that scratches, remains of filler and unsanded seams show, which get lost on a multicolored model.
The package holds a gray acrylic primer from Lifecolor with a volume of 100 ml, that is enough for several models. A gray shade is a universal base: under light shades it does not reduce coverage as much as black does, and under dark colors it causes no trouble at all.
Wash and degrease the model first, as not even a primer holds on a greasy surface. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles at the bottom. Apply it in thin coats and let the surface set between them; a heavy coat fills in the engraving of the panel lines and rivets that the build was about. Once dry, look the surface over against the light, sand back any faults you find, smooth them off and spray the spot again. Apply the top color only onto a fully cured primer.
The paint suits anyone who paints models with an airbrush and wants a level, clean base under the finish. The package holds only the primer; the model, thinner, brushes and top varnish are not included, unless stated otherwise.
