1:35 Bf109G-10 - Seatbelts is a set of fabric seatbelts with photo-etched fittings for the late Messerschmitt.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of straps of fine fabric with photo-etched buckles and fittings, cut for the cockpit of a large-scale model of the German fighter. The material allows a strap to be bent, made to sag and thrown over the edge of the seat, which flat metal photo-etch can never do. The cloth has its color and texture straight from manufacture.
The Bf 109 G-10 was among the last production versions of the most widespread German fighter. It received a more powerful DB 605 D engine with water injection, a smoother cowling and usually also a large hinged cockpit canopy with a better view. In level flight it was the fastest variant of the whole family. It arose in the last year of the war in several factories at once, so from machine to machine it differed in the placement of the bulges on the cowling and in the shape of the rudder. The pilots who flew it, however, already had their training cut to a minimum and fuel was scarce.
For modelers who build the large fighter with the canopy hinged open and want the cockpit to bear a detailed photograph. Tweezers, good light and a little patience when threading the buckles are assumed.
In the package there are straps and photo-etched fittings; the seat and the other equipment of the cockpit have to be obtained elsewhere.
