A resin set of jet nozzles for the Saab J-35 Draken in 1:48 scale from RESArm. It replaces the original nozzle of the plastic kit with a more faithful rendering with a fine internal structure and petals. The detail of the tail end of the aircraft is one of the places that draw the eye most on a finished model. It is not a stand-alone model but an accessory built into a Draken kit in this scale (the most common base is the kit from Hasegawa).
The Saab 35 Draken was a Swedish supersonic fighter with a characteristic double delta wing. It came about in the 1950s as an interceptor for the defense of Swedish airspace and was exceptionally capable for its time. Besides the Swedish Air Force it also served in Denmark, Finland and Austria.
Wash the resin parts to remove mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Bring the metallic shades of the nozzle out with a dry brush and a dark patina. Check the fit against your particular kit before gluing.
This is an accessory resin set, not a stand-alone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
