The seventh number of the present-day French collection of the brand BlackSnake Model. The figure came into being by digital sculpting and printing from resin, which allows sharper transitions of the cloth and the equipment than an injection mold can manage.
Modern French infantry moves around light armored vehicles and wheeled carriers; it is to be seen on patrol duty, at checkpoints and when being dropped off from a helicopter. A figure in movement gives a scene direction, and a convoy, a barrier or a short rest in the field can be put together around it.
Before the build, check whether a film of uncured print resin is left on the part; it shows itself in the paint pulling into droplets on the surface. Build a uniform in a pattern for dry country from the darkest area to the light one and blur the transitions with heavily thinned acrylic. Dust settled in the folds is imitated by a pigment applied with a dry brush. It also pays off to distinguish the surfaces: the cloth stays completely matte, whereas plastic buckles and holsters will take a hint of gloss, thanks to which the whole figure stops looking like a single-piece casting.
The package contains only the casting of the figure. Everything else needed to finish the scene the modeler buys himself.
