The bust depicts a Ukrainian soldier. Unlike a whole figure, only the upper part of the body is modeled on a bust, that is the head, the shoulders and the chest, so all the attention goes to the face, the headgear and the equipment carried. In 1:10 scale these parts are large enough for work on the shades of the skin, on the stitching of the cloth and on the wear of the material in a way that is out of the question with small figures.
The package contains one bust of a Ukrainian soldier in 1:10 scale. How many parts it consists of, whether a base is included as well and how the individual parts are fitted is stated in the instructions enclosed by the manufacturer. A bust is not built into a scene or into a diorama; it is displayed on its own, usually on a pillar or on a base chosen to suit the height of the display case.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remnant down carefully, so that the fine transitions on the face and the folds of the cloth are preserved. Wash and degrease the bust before painting, as paint does not hold on a greasy surface. Apply the base layer thinly, otherwise the modeling will be lost in it. It is a good idea to finish the face before you fit the headgear and the small items of equipment. Choose the kind of glue according to the material and the procedure according to the manufacturer's instructions.
The bust is for modelers and figure painters who want to work on a large format and concentrate on the face and the materials, not on building a scene. It is suitable as a standalone piece for a display case as well. Paints, glue and a display case are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
