A single figure of a Ukrainian soldier, listed in the line under the ordinal number six. The scale of 1:9 belongs among the large figure scales: a figure corresponding to a height of 1.75 meters comes out at roughly nineteen centimeters. That is quite a different discipline from a figure to go with a model of a vehicle; here the figure itself is the main object of the work.
In a large scale everything is visible. The folds of cloth, the seams of equipment, the transitions of shades on a face and the direction of the brush stroke. At the same time the painter gains room he does not have in small scales: smooth transitions, underpainting, work in oils and the accentuation of eyes and a beard can all be done. The finished figure is then displayed on its own on a base, not as part of a scene with vehicles.
For modelers who enjoy painting figures as work in its own right, and for collectors of large figures. Anyone who has so far painted only figures in 1:35 scale will find more room here and at the same time higher demands on the cleanliness of transitions.
The package holds the figure only. Paints, glue and a base are not included, unless stated otherwise.
