Mr.Paint MRP-A094 Medium Sea Grey – MRP AQUA, acrylic 17 ml

Mr.Paint MRP-A094 Medium Sea Grey is a modeling water-thinnable acrylic paint from the MRP AQUA range by the Slovak manufacturer Mr.Paint. It is not a kit but a paint in a dropper bottle of 17 ml, ready for airbrushing with almost no further preparation. It can be applied with a brush as well. It dries to a satin (semi-matte) finish that takes decals, washes and filters applied directly, and it has a markedly lower odor than lacquer paints.

Medium Sea Grey is a medium, neutral gray shade of the Royal Air Force to the British standard (BS 637). After August 1941 it became the standard color for the undersurfaces of RAF day fighters in the Day Fighter Scheme. It was also used on the upper surfaces of night fighters in combination with Dark Green and appeared on Coastal Command machines. It is therefore one of the most needed shades in the whole British wartime palette.

Use

• Airbrush: spray straight from the bottle; for soft transitions, panel shading and modulation, thin it further with water or with the Aqua thinner of the same brand.
• Brush: apply in thin covering coats and let each one set.
• Base: a light gray shade shows best on a degreased and primed surface.
• Rinse the airbrush and your tools with water immediately after work.
• Combine it with other shades of the British Second World War palette according to the particular camouflage scheme.

A water-based (acrylic) paint. Work in a well-ventilated space and do not breathe the atomized spray – use a respirator and extraction while spraying. Protect it from frost and direct sunlight and close the bottle tightly after use. Keep out of the reach of children.
