Mr.Paint MRP-A101 Azure Blue — a water-thinnable acrylic, 17 ml

A modeling paint from the MRP Aqua range of the manufacturer Mr.Paint. It is a water-thinnable acrylic in a 17 ml bottle with a dropper, suitable for airbrush and brush. It is thinned with water or with the thinner intended for the Aqua range, it has a low odor and the tools are cleaned with water. The shade Azure Blue is the British azure blue — the color of the lower surfaces of RAF aircraft deployed in the Mediterranean and in the North African desert, where it replaced the light shades used over Europe.

Use

• The lower surfaces of British RAF aircraft in the tropical and Mediterranean scheme, where it was combined with upper desert camouflage (an earth brown and a middle stone shade).
• Airbrush: the paint is ready to spray; thin it further with water or with the thinner for the Aqua range as needed and apply it in thin coats.
• Brush: apply it thinly and add the next coat only once the previous one has dried completely.
• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use; clean the airbrush and the brushes immediately after work, before the paint dries.
• On smooth plastic we recommend a primer; once the camouflage has dried, the clear coat, decals and weathering follow.

Who the paint is for

For modelers of British aircraft of the Second World War, above all desert and Mediterranean schemes, who want an accurate shade from a complete RAF palette. A water-thinnable acrylic with a low odor suits building at home without extraction and is cleaned with water — work with aggressive thinners is avoided. Within the same range a whole scheme can be sprayed, including the upper camouflage.

The paint is intended for modeling use. Ensure good ventilation and do not inhale the atomized aerosol — use a respirator when spraying. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin, keep out of the reach of children and close the bottle tightly after use.
