Mr.Paint MRP Aqua Marking Red, a water-thinnable acrylic, 17 ml

A water-based acrylic paint from the MRP Aqua line by Mr.Paint. It is not a lacquer: the paint is thinned with water or with the acrylic thinner of the same line, it has a low odor and it suits work at home. It is supplied in a 17 ml bottle with a dropper cap, so it is easily dosed straight into the airbrush cup. The shade Marking Red is the saturated red used on national markings, stencils, recognition features and small prominent details. As with all saturated reds, it only comes into its own over a properly prepared base.

Use

• Airbrush spraying: mix the paint and thin it as needed with water or with the acrylic thinner of the same line.
• Brush application, which is practical on small areas and details where masking is not worth it.
• National markings, recognition and identification features, bands and stencils.
• Details of figures, dioramas and equipment that call for a clean saturated red.
• Red covers better over a light base, so consider a white or light gray primer and apply in thin coats.
• Flush the airbrush immediately after you finish spraying; close the bottle tightly so that the paint does not dry in the neck.
