1:144 Avro 698 Vulcan Decals Part.1 is a decal sheet with markings for British Vulcan bombers and tankers.
Responsibility details are not available.
The sheet from the Korean studio Wolfpack Design carries markings for four particular machines from the late period of the type's service. You will find a bomber of No. 101 Squadron as it was in the spring of 1982, two renditions of the famous machine with the serial XH558, once in the colors of the display team of the early 1990s and once from the time when it flew under the auspices of a trust, and finally a K.2 tanker version of No. 50 Squadron. The box holds decals only; plastic parts and a kit are not part of it.
The Vulcan was a British strategic bomber with a delta wing and one of the three types that carried Britain's postwar nuclear forces. In service it gradually moved to low-level flight and conventional armament, and toward the end of its career some of the aircraft were converted into tankers. The operations over the Falklands in 1982 were among the longest bombing raids of their day. The machine XH558 flew as the last airworthy example right up to 2015.
First clear-coat the surface under the decal with a gloss varnish, or a matte veil will appear beneath the film. Once dry, a decal softener will help settle the large national insignia into the panel lines. Finally unify everything with a matte or semi-matte clear coat, according to the look of the particular machine.
