Spraying instead of a decal, that is how the set 1:48 Fw 190 A-6 masks for crosses can be summed up; it transfers the German markings onto a 1:48 Focke-Wulf.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of templates with which the finished cross becomes part of the color coat instead of a film glued on from above. Under sharp light no rectangular border shows through anywhere and the surface stays uniform even after the paint has been polished.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-6 arrived in the middle of 1943 with a lightened wing structure which from the design stage onward reckoned with four 20 mm cannons in the leading edge. That turned the Anton into a machine built above all against the American daylight formations. The BMW 801 radial with forced cooling gave the aircraft its characteristically short and massive nose, complemented by a wide landing gear track which made operation from field strips easier for the pilots. The version was built in large numbers and formed the basis for the following blocks, onto which further weapon and equipment kits were fitted.
Think the order of the shades through: the light field comes first and the dark filling only after it. Go over the transition between the template and the surface with a wooden stick, so that it does not stand on the edge of a panel engraving anywhere. Then apply the paint from a greater distance and in several light coats. Give the light field a longer time to dry than the dark filling, because the softer white is damaged more easily when the film is lifted.
