Messerschmitt Me 262 - resin seat without belts 1:48 is a 3D printed resin accessory from the maker Art Scale that replaces the kit pilot's seat in models of the Messerschmitt Me 262 in 1:48 scale. Intended for Tamiya kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a model of the aircraft, but a separate detail accessory. The set holds a 3D printed resin pilot's seat for models of the German Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighter in 1:48 scale. The seat belts are not included, so you can add them to your own choice (photo-etched, fabric or film). The set is intended for Tamiya kits.
The Me 262 Schwalbe was the world's first jet fighter to enter series service. It came into service with the Luftwaffe at the end of the Second World War and, thanks to its pair of jet engines, reached speeds that piston fighters could not match. An accurately rendered cockpit interior, the seat included, raises the credibility of a finished model markedly.
Wash the part gently free of print resin residue, separate it carefully from the print supports and attach it with superglue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. We recommend painting the seat and bringing it out with a wash before the fuselage is closed up.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The seat belts, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
