A kit of the character Lady Commander Amatsu in color-divided plastic. The parts are nipped off the sprues and pushed into one another; the model is meant for display.
Responsibility details are not available.
The name of the set joins a rank and a name: the subject is a commanding character appearing as Amatsu. With figures of this type most of the character is carried by the clothing and the equipment: a high collar, a cloak, a headdress or a weapon hold the whole impression together more than the pose itself does. So take a good look at the subject beforehand on the illustration on the packaging; any painting can be planned from it as well.
Inside are plastic sprues with the parts, connecting pins and instructions laid out in pictures. The assembly proceeds by pushing parts together, so you need neither tubes nor super glue to finish. The plastic is divided into several shades, so the finished figure has its color breakdown the moment it is assembled.
Nip the parts off with a small margin from the surface and only then level the remainder of the sprue gate with a knife. That saves you white marks on the edges, which are hard to hide on richly colored plastic. With small pieces such as fingers or clasps it is sensible to nip them off only when their turn comes, otherwise they are easily lost. Before fitting the head or the hair part, try the seating dry and only then press the pin home.
The finished figure belongs in a display case or on a shelf out of direct sunlight, which changes the shade of plastics over the long term. If you also collect add-on sets with interchangeable parts, count on the character being changeable later, and leave a little free space around it.
