About product

Yahu Models 1:48 KAI FA-50GF instrument panel

A finished, colored instrument panel from Yahu Models in 1:48 scale for the South Korean KAI FA-50 light combat aircraft (the GF version). It is not a kit: the panel is a fine photo-etched self-adhesive part with printed dials, instruments and lettering that serves as a direct replacement for the plastic instrument panel in the cockpit of a model. It brings crisp, three-dimensional detail without laborious painting of individual gauges.

Use

  • The original plastic panel is removed from the model or sanded away.
  • The Yahu panel is peeled off and stuck in its place; depending on the particular kit, a slight adjustment of the shape may be needed.
  • A drop of clear varnish can be applied to the dials for the impression of glass faces.
  • Fitting is done before the cockpit and the fuselage are closed up.

Who the instrument panel is for

  • For builders of the FA-50 model in this scale who want a faithful cockpit.
  • For modelers who prefer finished detail to painting gauges.

This is an accessory for a cockpit, not a model of an aircraft. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
