A brush laid flat is a brush ruined

The most frequent cause of a good brush's shortened life is not painting but putting it down. When a tool lies on the table, the bristles lean against the board and bend; when it stands in a jar of water with the hairs above the surface, the hair spreads to the sides and the point no longer comes together. The holder solves this problem in the simplest possible way: brushes stand in it vertically, point upward, nothing touches them and the modeler can see them, so he reaches for the right one at the first try.

A small part that tidies a table

According to its own data the maker shapes it to the top of a work table, the one the whole of its line of stands, holders and organizers works with. The advantage of such a part is that it takes up only vertical space. The working area around a model stays free and the tools are nevertheless no farther than an outstretched arm. By adding further pieces from the same line one at a time you arrange a table according to your own procedure, not according to what happened to fit where.

A few practical notes

• Insert brushes only once they are cleaned; paint left in the ferrule hardens.
• Do not place the holder directly under the spraying area; mist will settle on it.
• Lukewarm water is enough for cleaning; aggressive solvents do a printed part no good.
• The package holds the holder itself; the tools in the picture are only to give an idea.

It falls into the band of small workshop equipment, so it makes sense as an addition to a larger order as well.
