First, Fighter, Zvolen: The People of the Zvolen Regiment (Part 7)

This is a book, not a model. The publication from the pen of Miroslav Irra, a leading authority on Czechoslovak military aviation, follows on as the seventh part of an extensive series devoted to the Zvolen fighter air regiment. This volume focuses on the human dimension of the unit, that is on the fates of the pilots, technicians and commanders who made it up. The publisher is Jakab Publishing, which specializes in aviation history. The text is in Czech.

What the book brings

• The history and the personnel picture of the Zvolen fighter air regiment.
• The fates and life stories of members of the unit across its service.
• Period photographs and documentation on the subject.
• A continuation of the earlier parts of the series on the history of the regiment.

Who the book is for

For anyone interested in Czechoslovak and Czech military aviation history, for researchers, collectors of aviation literature and for modelers looking for period and personal context to the machinery of that era.
