A detail accessory cast in resin, not an airplane model. The set replaces the external stores pylons of the British Sepecat Jaguar GR.1/GR.1a ground-attack fighter in 1:48 scale and is shaped for the Airfix kit. The resin pylons have crisper edges and finer detail than the plastic out of the box and carry the stores and tanks better. The set is made by Aires, a Czech specialist in resin detail sets.
The Sepecat Jaguar was a British and French single-seat ground-attack aircraft built to attack targets on the ground. The British GR.1 and GR.1a versions served with the RAF and carried a wide range of ordnance under the wings and the fuselage, which makes the pylons one of the visually prominent features of the model.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, the ordnance, paints and glue are not included in the package. Use a respirator and ventilate when sanding resin.
