This resin accessory from Quickboost replaces the headrest of the pilot's seat on a model of the Vought F4U-1 Corsair fighter with the birdcage canopy in 1:72 scale. This is the type B variant. It is not an aircraft kit but a small detail accessory with sharper detail than a plastic part offers.
The Vought F4U-1 Corsair was an American carrier fighter of the Second World War. The early versions had the characteristic framed cabin glazing known as the birdcage. The headrest is a visible element of the cockpit that adds to the fidelity of a finished model.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin part, cut the casting block away and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before fitting it, paint the headrest and bring it out, so that the detail stands out in the glazed cabin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
