Scale 1:650 matters for this subject: the classic models of the Federation starship come out in the same scale, so both sides can be displayed side by side in the correct relative proportion. With sci-fi subjects this is rather the exception and collectors value it.
The Klingon battle cruiser is one of the best-known enemy ships in television fiction altogether. Its silhouette is deliberately designed as the opposite of the smooth shape of the Federation ship: a long forward neck ending in the command section, a massive rear body and two engine nacelles extended out to the sides. The design kept returning in variations in further series and films and became a visual shorthand for the whole enemy side. That is exactly why the model is a popular counterpart for any display case that already holds a Federation ship.
The main task is a clean joint between the halves of the hull and the neck, because that is where the seam runs across prominent surfaces. Fill them and start sanding only after they have fully dried, or the seam will reappear in time. Bring the basic greenish gray tone to life with fine panel work and a slight difference of shade between the individual surfaces. Finish the translucent parts last and protect them with a mask.
