This set from PANZER ART is a detail accessory for a diorama and an interior, not a vehicle kit. It contains resin parts that faithfully capture the ammunition for the German 7.5 cm KwK 42 L/70 tank gun of 75 mm caliber — complete rounds as well as empty, fired cartridge cases in 1:35 scale. It serves to fill the ammunition stowage, to arrange around a gun position or to enliven a scene with a crew.
The long 7.5 cm KwK 42 L/70 gun was the main armament of the German medium tank Panther and, in a derived form, of some tank destroyers as well. Thanks to the great length of the barrel it reached a high muzzle velocity and excellent penetrating power. It used armor-piercing as well as high-explosive ammunition with characteristically long cartridge cases.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut off the casting blocks. Paint the cartridge cases in brass shades with a fine gloss and set the tips of the projectiles apart with color markings. Support the metallic gloss by polishing or with pigments; wear respiratory protection while sanding resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
