Responsibility details are not available.
A large multi-figure resin set for experienced modelers. It captures German Panzergrenadiers in the fighting at Kharkov in 1943. It is the first part of a two-part series: part 2 follows on from it with further figures for the same scene. The figures are supplied as unassembled and unpainted resin castings.
The fighting for Kharkov in 1943 was among the large clashes on the Eastern Front of the Second World War. The Panzergrenadiers were motorized infantry that accompanied the tank units. The set treats the figures documentarily, as a historical reconstruction of the uniforms, the equipment and the armament of that period.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding resin. For figures, brush paints, a wash for shading and a dry brush for bringing out the cloth and the equipment all suit well. Work from the base tones through the shadows to the final highlights; the faces and the hands can be managed with a fine brush. The scene will appreciate matte tones and fine mud effects.
The set is supplied as unassembled and unpainted resin castings. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
