This is a resin detail set, not a kit of an aircraft. It holds the bomb bay doors for a model of the B-17 in 1:32 scale, in a thin-walled and faithful rendition that makes it possible to show the bomb bay open. It replaces the simplified parts of the plastic kit.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is a four-engine heavy bomber, one of the icons of the American strategic offensive in the Second World War. The large bomb bay in the fuselage with its closing doors is one of the prominent features that stand out markedly on a model in a large scale.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The thin doors make a realistic rendition of an open bomb bay possible. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
