This resin detail set adds 16S210 launch rails in the early form to a model of the F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter in 1:48 scale. They serve to carry air-to-air guided missiles on the wingtips and the underwing stations. It is an accessory from the Czech maker Kopecky Scale Models, not a model on its own.
The launch rails are the load-bearing interface between the pylon and the missile. The resin castings have a more faithful shape and finer detail than the simplified plastic parts and match the early F-16 standard better. Fitting them sharpens the external armament of a model.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and clean them up. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways when sanding resin. Lay a primer before painting and seat the rails according to the stores configuration.
This is a detail accessory, not an aircraft model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
