This resin conversion set serves for converting a model of the F-16 C fighter in 1:48 scale into the Israeli version Barak Block 40. It usually combines 3D-printed and resin parts with supplementary elements and is intended for more experienced modelers. It is an accessory from the Czech manufacturer Kopecky Scale Models, not a standalone model.
Block 40 is a more advanced version of the Israeli F-16, adapted among other things for night and precision strikes. Compared with Block 30 it brought a strengthened landing gear, revised avionics and further installations; Israeli machines moreover have a number of specific antennas and sensors, which the set captures.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and protect your airways when sanding resin. The conversion calls for cutting and reworking the plastic of the base kit; follow the enclosed instructions and period photographs.
This is a conversion accessory, not an airplane model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
