Five spare plastic caps for bottles of 30, 60 and 100 ml. The small thing that saves an opened paint from drying out.
Responsibility details are not available.
Anyone who has ever put a bottle of paint down without its closure knows how it ends. The solvent evaporates, the surface thickens and the next day the expensive paint is a syrup that can no longer be brought back to its original state. And a closure is easily lost: it rolls under the bench, it sticks to the top with a dried drop, or the inner thread breaks off.
A set of five spare caps is a small thing that keeps an opened bottle of paint from being ruined. It fits three sizes of bottle, that is thirty, sixty and one hundred milliliters, which covers the usual range of this brand from individual shades to thinners and varnishes. The improvising with cling film, adhesive tape or a cap from another brand that never quite seats falls away by that.
A few tips on maintenance: it pays to wipe the thread of the bottle with a cloth moistened in thinner after every use, otherwise the remains of paint dry into the groove and the cap stops sealing. Store the bottles upright and in a cool place, not on a windowsill. And if you mix your own shades, mark the contents directly on the cap, because identical closures on several bottles can take up more time while you are looking than one would think.
