Two bottles of 30 ml each for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII car in its silver finish with striped graphics: the metallic and the green-yellow tone. Ready for application with an airbrush.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Lancer Evolution VII from the film sequel shot at the start of the millennium was not the fastest car of the story, but it had the most memorable surface. The cold silver body and the green-yellow striped motif led across it, which broke into a point on the sides, became the recognition mark of the whole picture. This pair of bottles holds both components.
In the box there lies one bottle of 30 ml in the green-yellow tone and a second with the same quantity of silver. The division corresponds to the way the car looked: the base area in silver, the prominent graphics in a sharp green with a hint of yellow.
Silver tends to be the most treacherous shade there is, because every unevenness under it stands out and aluminum flakes have a tendency to clump into blotches. Here the grain is small and spread evenly, so after drying a continuous metal surface appears with no patches at the transition between two passes. The green-yellow tone, by contrast, is full and does not need a white base under it in order to light up.
The recommended order is the silver as a layer over the whole area, masking after it has hardened and only then the colored graphics. Anyone who dares will spray the motif through a stencil; anyone who does not will use decals and keep the paint for repairs and for small extras in the engine bay.
