Precisely turned brass barrels for the British 4in/45 QF HA Mark XVI naval gun (102 mm caliber, that is 4 inches, 45 calibers length) in 1:700 scale from the MASTER company. The package contains 14 pieces and replaces the plastic barrels with a more accurate metal part.
The 4in/45 QF HA Mark XVI gun was the standard dual-purpose anti-aircraft gun of most British warships in the Second World War. It was fitted in twin mountings on cruisers, destroyers and larger units alike.
Metal barrels are straight and thin and have a symmetrical muzzle. Fourteen pieces cover the numerous anti-aircraft batteries of the model.
Cut off the plastic barrel, clean up the hole with a fine drill and glue the brass part in with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the brass before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
