1:700 German 15cm/45 (5.9in) SK L/45 barrels (14pcs)

Brass barrels 15 cm SK L/45, casemate version, 1:700 (MASTER)

This is an aftermarket detail set, not a ship model. The package holds 14 lathe-machined brass barrels of the German 15 cm SK L/45 naval guns in the casemate version. The hollow, straight barrels replace the simplified plastic parts and raise the detail of the secondary armament.

What it is for

The accessory is intended for replacing the original plastic barrels on models of German battleships and cruisers of the First World War period which carried casemate guns of this caliber, in 1:700 scale. The metal barrels have a faithful profile and muzzle.

Fitting

• Cut off and clean up the original plastic barrel.
• Drill a hole of the matching diameter in the casemate or the gun mount.
• Glue the brass barrel in with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
• The parts can be degreased and painted before gluing.

Who the set is for

• Builders of ship models in 1:700 scale.
• Modelers who want more faithful secondary armament.

This is a detail accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
