Trumpeter PLA Navy Aircraft Carrier 1:700 is a plastic kit of the Chinese aircraft carrier in the museum scale, with a choice of a full hull as well as a waterline version.

An injection-molded plastic kit of the Chinese aircraft carrier of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in 1:700 scale from the manufacturer Trumpeter. The kit makes it possible to assemble the model with a full hull on a stand or in the version at the level of the water (a waterline). The package holds photo-etched parts and decals; the exact number of parts and of the marking schemes is given by the instruction sheet in the package.
This is the first aircraft carrier of the PLA Navy able to operate fixed-wing aircraft. She came about by completing and modernizing an unfinished hull of Soviet design (the Kuznetsov class) and serves above all for training and for proving the operation of carrier aviation. The hull has a characteristic deck with a ski-jump ramp at the bow instead of catapults.
Glue the hull with a thin cement for plastic and weigh the choice of a full hull or a waterline before you close it up. Glue the photo-etched railings and the fine parts with super glue. We recommend a primer, an airbrush for an even gray on the deck and the superstructure and a final matte varnish. For display on a waterline, a separate base or a diorama base is suitable.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
