A plastic set of carrier-based aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy from the Japanese manufacturer Fujimi. It is a set of small aircraft of its own, not a model of one ship nor a large model of an aircraft; the aircraft serve to fill the flight decks of models of carriers and to complete hangars and catapults. The set is designated as the variant for the late period of the war and the manufacturer also makes other parts of the same line for earlier periods. The 1:700 scale matches the standard of ship models, so the aircraft suit models of ships from various manufacturers.
Models of carriers tend to be supplied with only a small number of aircraft or with none at all, and yet it is precisely a filled flight deck that turns a model into a tableau. A set of this type makes it possible to put together a realistic deck with machines ready for takeoff, with wings spread and folded, or with machines in the hangar. It is good to secure the machines glued to the deck with a small drop of super glue, because the contact area is minimal.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
