The U-Boat Type VIIC in 1:700 scale from Hobby Boss. A plastic kit of the legendary German ocean-going submarine of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the German Type VIIC submarine in the small 1:700 scale from Hobby Boss. It is a subject with a low parts count that can be built as a full-hull model or in the waterline version. The box contains injection-molded plastic parts and a base with a nameplate for display. For the exact contents and parts count go by the information on the packaging.
Type VIIC was the most widespread and most typical German submarine of the Second World War, the backbone of the force of Admiral Dönitz in the Battle of the Atlantic. Six hundred and one were built and the great majority were put into service. This single-hull ocean-going submarine, with diesel engines for running on the surface and electric motors for running submerged, operated against Allied convoys. It carried torpedoes and a deck gun and became the symbol of the submarine war.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic. Given the small scale we recommend cleaning up the flash carefully. It is a good idea to spray the hull and the conning tower with an airbrush, and to use a dark wash to bring out the rivets and panels. The model shows well on the base provided.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
