The hull, the decks and a set of carrier aircraft are usually included, so that the finished build gives a detailed model of one of the most famous aircraft carriers in history.
USS Enterprise (CV-6) was an American aircraft carrier of the Yorktown class, commissioned in 1938. During the Second World War she took part in most of the key battles in the Pacific, among them the Battle of Midway and the Battle of Leyte Gulf, and became the most decorated American ship of the conflict. She was nicknamed the Big E.
The hull can be built as a full hull or down to the waterline, as you prefer; separate the fine parts with nippers and clean them up. An airbrush and masking suit the painting of the deck and the sides, while washes and drybrushing pick out the detail. It is practical to paint and fit the tiny aircraft last.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
