An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer IBG. The set represents the Italian 3Ro heavy truck with a cargo body (Cassone) carrying the 100/17 field howitzer. Photo-etched parts for finer detail are usually included.
The three-axle 3Ro heavy truck was one of the mainstays of the Italian army in the Second World War; in the cargo body version it served among other things to move artillery and to put it into improvised action. The 100/17 howitzer of 100 mm caliber was a widespread field weapon with its origins in First World War armament, which the Italian army went on using.
Cut the small chassis and howitzer parts away carefully and clean up the gates. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Lay the base shade down with an airbrush over primer; mud and dust effects on the wheels and the underside are built up with washes and pigments. Take care that the howitzer sits correctly on the cargo body.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
