Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Polish brand IBG Models. It captures the Hungarian 40/43M Zrínyi II self-propelled assault gun of 105 mm caliber in the version with side skirts (Schürzen). The package contains plastic sprues, photo-etched parts and a decal sheet. The set offers a fine level of detail in a small scale.
The Zrínyi II was a Hungarian self-propelled assault gun of the Second World War built on the chassis of the Turán tank. In a closed casemate superstructure it carried a 105 mm howitzer intended for direct fire support of the infantry. The side skirts protected the tracks and the road wheels against anti-armor weapons.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the tracks before closing up the hull. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply the base shade with an airbrush; the patina is built up with washes and pigments that bring out mud and dust effects on the lower part. The side skirts are a rewarding area for chipped paint.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
