This accessory is NOT an aircraft kit but a detailed resin cockpit set. It replaces the box cockpit with a more accurate, finely cast interior with a shaded instrument panel, side consoles and an ejection seat. The set is intended for models of the single-seat attack version of the AMX aircraft (Italian designation A-11 Ghibli) in 1:72 scale.
The AMX is a supersonic light attack aircraft developed in cooperation between Italian and Brazilian industry. In the Italian Air Force it carries the designation A-11 and the nickname Ghibli. It serves for attacks on ground targets, close air support and reconnaissance.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The cockpit is best painted before the fuselage is closed up; pick out the instrument panels and consoles with a dry brush and a wash so that the relief stands out.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
